Top Key Features of 2024

In the past year,  we've rolled out a lot of valuable features for the AskCody platform. We are extremely proud of all that we achieved.

Join us as we recap and ensure you haven't missed any.

Some features were ofcourse more interesting and game changing than others.

Bring your workplace to life with an interactive floor plan that helps you find and book desks, rooms, and workspaces in real-time.

We introduced the new Schedule View in Central, designed to provide more power, more control and a better overview of meetings. Alongside it, the immersive All Bookings list offers a comprehensive overview of all meetings.

We’ve made rescheduling in Workplace Central easier with three updates: a precision line for keeping meeting times consistent, a confirmation pop-up to review or undo changes, and direct organizer communication via email or Teams.

2024, the year of Maps and a ton of quality-of-life improvements

In 2024, AskCody focused on enhancing workplace efficiency, improving navigation, and empowering users with intuitive tools. Significant strides were made with the introduction of new features and improvements across the platform.

AskCody Maps were finaly launched, and became more dynamic and interactive, with enhancements like kiosk-optimized functionality, seamless multi-day bookings, and real-time availability guidance. The addition of Location Memberships in Central brought a new level of control, allowing organizations to tailor user access based on location assignments.

Meeting management was also made easier with features like visual filters for easier tracking of past, current, and future meetings, alongside better tools for rescheduling. AskCody expanded its language support by introducing Polish and introduced personalized avatars synchronized with Microsoft 365.

Throughout the year, updates like the improved homepage, changelogs, and a revamped admin experience made the platform even more user-friendly.

Completing the full-circle meeting management platform

2024 has been the year when AskCody, more than ever, became your full-circle meeting management platform—helping not just to make booking meetings easier and better, but also to:

  • Simplify meeting management and resource scheduling across the organization, including meeting rooms and workspaces
  • Improve visitor experiences and strengthen corporate identity when guests visit your workplace
  • Manage service vendors, providers, and requests, creating a connected workplace
  • Help the entire organization achieve operational efficiency and cost savings

It has always been our ambition to build the bridge between people, places, and events—creating a better workplace experience.

We do this by supporting and empowering the entire meeting lifecycle and all its touchpoints, from scheduling to analytics.

You see, it’s not just about how easy it is to book or schedule a meeting or workspace in the first place; it’s about how easy it is to manage the meeting, ensuring it starts on time, every time.

Because meetings are dynamic—especially in complex environments like corporate offices, law firms, or other professional service settings—they can be rescheduled or edited multiple times before they take place, sometimes in a 1-to-10 ratio. Simply making scheduling easy isn’t enough; that’s only the first 5%. The real complexity begins after the meeting is planned and scheduled. That’s why we focus on the entire meeting lifecycle, not just booking and scheduling.

Because meetings matter! In any corporate office, law firm, or financial institution with significant foot traffic and numerous external visitors on a daily basis, meetings are a key driver of revenue—your revenue and your meetings go hand in hand.

Our focus on releasing features to improve your experience of our platform doesn't stop here. We are currently working on: 

  • Resource membership - manage which user has access to book what room
  • Improved Outlook add-in booking experience with the ability to request services prior to sending the Outlook meeting invitation 
  • Improving user management with Entra ID (former Azure AD).
  • Ping - Integrate AskCody with any cloud application through webhooks
