Reverse desk hoteling is a workplace strategy that maximizes office space utilization while providing flexibility and accessibility for employees.

With reverse desk hoteling, an employee with an assigned desk or workspace voluntarily makes it available to a flexible pool of desks for booking when they are not using it. This strategy is commonly employed when an employee is working remotely, on vacation, or out of the office for the day. Once the employee returns to the office, the desk is theirs again.
